Matelasse is a double-cloth fabric woven on a jacquard loom with fine 100s two-ply long-staple 100% Egyptian cotton yarn. This double weave shrinks during our finishing process making the fabric design stand out and giving an extra soft embossed texture. Each piece undergoes our secret wash and is then piece-dyed which makes it the softest and deepest textured Matelasse available. Our Matelasse coverlets and shams have a relaxed look and antiqued feel and will give many years of wear.
